ABOUT BEA

I'm so glad you're here!

I'm Bea, a lifelong reader of stories and a writer of worlds.

I've been writing since I was very young- diary entries, fanfiction, never fully fleshed-out fiction- but that love of imagination grew into what I am today: a professional reader and writer.

I've been an assistant editor, a copywriter, a social media intern, and, in a past life, a Pushcart Prize-nominated poet with two chapbooks and publications in several independent magazines.

Today, under my new and improved pen name (circa 2026), I share my reading life and writing journey in hopes of meeting other book lovers, exchanging recommendations, and celebrating our creative endeavors.

I'm also currently working on two poetry collections, a young adult fantasy, a romantasy, and a literary horror while earning my Bachelor of Arts in English and Creative Writing with a concentration in poetry --- hoping to fall into the world of publishing, journalism, education, or wherever my skills are needed once I've graduated.

So, make yourself at home. Sign up for my monthly newsletter for book reviews, monthly wrap-ups, and writing updates, or email me about your latest publication. I'd love to read it and would be honored to review it. ♡

P.S. If I'm not reading or writing, you can find me playing the Nintendo Switch, watching anime, or painting.
